The clothing industry has an alarming issue with too much production of garments. Reports suggest that in big retail stores, around 10% of the clothing is not sold. This leads to a tremendous amount of clothes ending up in landfills, which is a huge waste of fabric, and dyes and a strain on the environment. Unbelievably, some brands choose to set fire to their surplus production to create room for new collections. We think this is a very irresponsible and ungrateful attitude. Not only does it disrespect people who can’t afford to clothe, but it also shows a lack of appreciation for their own products, treating them as if they are disposable. That’s why we take a different approach with our pre-order module!
